Help your community access culturally-safe health information
Your members are asking questions about fertility, PCOS, IVF, and hormonal health — often without a safe cultural space to find answers. We built Appy and Yaar for them, in 7 South Asian languages.
We're running a small pilot before we open more widely. Thank you for helping us reach the people who need this most.
How to share with your members
- 1
You have a unique access code
We sent it in our email to you. It's a short code like
APPY26. Every member uses the same code — there's no limit per person, only a total cap on places. - 2
Forward it however you normally communicate
Newsletter, WhatsApp group, Facebook group, email list — whatever works for your community. We've written a ready-to-forward message you can use (in our email to you).
- 3
Members sign up at appyaar.com/pilot
They enter the code, create a free account, explore the app (~10 min), and fill in a short survey (~4 min). No ongoing commitment.
- 4
We track signups from your code separately
We'll share how many of your members participated and what they thought. We'll report back after the pilot closes.
What your members will experience
Time commitment: About 15 minutes in total.
Languages: English, Punjabi, Hindi, Urdu, Gujarati, Bengali, and Tamil. Members choose their language when they sign up.
What the app covers: Fertility, hormonal health, PCOS, endometriosis, IVF, perimenopause — for women and men. Separate spaces for women (Appy) and men (Yaar), both in South Asian cultural context.
No medical advice: The app is for information and self-understanding, not diagnosis or treatment. We signpost to NHS services where relevant.
Data and privacy: Each user controls their own data. We collect anonymised usage data and, with explicit consent, may use responses to inform our research. Full privacy policy at appyaar.com/privacy.
What to expect after you share
Signups usually arrive within 1–3 days of your message going out.
If you don't see uptake within a week, a gentle follow-up message often helps — people are busy and a second nudge makes a difference.
We'll send you a summary once the pilot closes, including how many of your members joined and the headline feedback themes.
